The Brief
The Blackpink Singapore concert was weeks away when the brief came in, which meant the content had to feel current immediately rather than build toward a slow reveal. Flyco's product is customisable luggage, practical travel gear at its core, but the audience we needed to reach wasn't thinking about travel logistics. BLINKs preparing for the show were deep in self-expression: outfit planning, fandom in-jokes, the excitement of counting down to a specific date. A standard product post explaining customisation features would have missed that mood entirely. The brief wasn't to sell luggage; it was to find where a genuinely useful product could sit inside a moment fans already cared about, without the campaign reading as a brand forcing its way into someone else's celebration.
Our Approach
We treated the luggage as part of the concert ritual rather than a standalone product to sell. Instead of opening on the suitcase, the edits opened on the parts of concert prep BLINKs already film themselves doing: picking an outfit, packing, the countdown energy before a show. The customisable panels appeared inside that ritual, shown as part of getting ready rather than as a feature list. Styling, pacing, and edit language were built to match how fans already document this kind of moment on their own accounts: quick cuts, casual framing, energy over polish, so the content could sit inside a BLINK's feed without reading as an ad interrupting it. The product stayed visible throughout, but it entered the story through the ritual, not ahead of it.
The Result
The campaign reached 23K+ video views, well beyond what a standard product post from an account this size would typically pull on its own. That reach came from timing and framing working together: the content entered a moment BLINKs were already emotionally invested in, rather than asking them to care about a product cold. It's a useful proof point for time-boxed, culture-tied campaigns generally: the product doesn't need to be the headline if the surrounding moment is strong enough to carry attention, as long as the brand earns its place inside that moment instead of interrupting it. It's part of our wider event branding and marketing work for Singapore brands.
